Lorado Taft Camp Information

It is that time again...Lorado Taft time. The following is a list of items the boys need to bring and a time line of the four days we will be at Lorado Taft. I will update the blog daily with the events of the camp.


Lorado Taft Football Camp 2010

List of things to bring:
1. Pillow
2. Sleeping bag (Blanket w/ sheets)
3. Towel
4. Practice gear (bring enough for all days)
5. Sun block
6. Bug Spray
7. Sweatshirt
8. Running shoes (in addition to football cleats)
9. Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant)
10. Props for the Funnies
11. Snacks (after evening practice sessions)
12. Extra Drinks (Water, Gatorade, Juice)

12:00 pm Leave from Joliet West High School

2:00 pm Arrive at Lorado Taft Camp

2:00-3:00 pm Check in

3:00-5:00 pm Tour of facility (The Welcome Tour)

5:00-6:00 pm Dinner in dining hall

6:30-8:30 pm Practice on field

9:15-9:45 pm Offensive/Defensive Team meetings

9:45-10:00 pm Move together in Meeting Room

10:00-10:30 pm Break-out group discussions

10:30-11:00 pm Team discussion

11:30 pm Lights out

Another West Victory!

Our West Tigers defeated Glenbrook North in the Chicago Rush Tug-of-War competition Saturday night. We will go back next Saturday to compete for the Championship vs. Lyons Township.
