West vs Central

We got the Victory. That was the bottom line of the game. It was not pretty, but in the end all that matters is that we have more points at the end of the game. Our defense, once again, played outstanding holding Central's offense to under 90 yards of total offense. Our offense once again shot itself in the foot a couple of times as we were not able to finish some drives in the red zone. We have to be able to play mistake free football in the upcoming weeks as we get into the heart of our conference schedule. We have some wins in front of us if we are able to play mistake free. Looking forward to getting this week of practice going!

West vs. Bolingbrook

Once again, too many mistakes hurt us against Bolingbrook Friday night. I was very proud of the way our defense came out and played. Bolingbrook is a very good team, however I think that we can be a good team as well. We need to do a better job of holding onto the ball and keeping control of the clock so we can keep our defense off the field. We will be playing at Joliet Central this Saturday at 1 pm. I am looking forward to a great week of practice which will turn into a great afternoon on Saturday.

West vs. Sandburg

When we totally dominate a team 531 yards to 260 yards usually we should win the game. However, when we make small mistakes we create big problems. We have seen our mistakes on film and we see that we must not make these mistakes if we want to be the team that we think we can be. I am very proud of our team, how they dominated Sandburg on Saturday, but once again we need to cut out our mistakes. Big game this Friday night where we get another chance to correct these things and come out against another great team in our conference to compete and Shock the conference!
