2011 Lifting Log Update

Here is the progress of how our guys have been doing in the weight room. Some guys have made the commitment, some have not. We have many who are very close to the first goal. The following picture is what our guys are in pursuit of as they close in on that first goal of our off-season work. 2011 will be a great year!

Congratulations Lynette!

Lynette has been our football manager for the past two years, and she has logged over 1000 community service hours in that time. She has done many things for the Joliet West football program from laundry to filming to game day prep. It would take too long to list everything she has done for this program, and we will miss her greatly next year. However, the University of St. Francis football program will benefit from her abilities as an efficient and committed manager. USF has offered Lynette a scholarship to be a manager for them for the next four years! The Joliet West football program is very proud of and excited for her. Congrats Lynette!!

National Signing Day

Congratualtions to Jon Smith for signing a National Letter of Intent to play football for Bemiji State University. Bemiji State is a division 2 school in Minnesota and was very excited to be able to get Jon to sign with them. Coach Morris told me that they are looking forward to having Jon compete right away as their top deep threat receiver. Great Job Jon! West Football is very proud of your accomplishment!
